    COVID-19

The health of our patients is very important to us and we are working hard to ensure we follow all advice and guidance given to us regarding Covid-19 and prevention of infection and spread.

It is difficult to add extra measures as cleanliness and cross infection control have always been a priority here at Oracle to ensure the safety of our patients, staff and visitors even before COVID-19 existed!

We have always had hand wash in all our bathrooms and encourage all visitors to the practice to use them as they would do normally.

We have always had hand sanitiser gel at reception, and we have added a couple more to our patient lounge areas for your convenience, however, we still advocate hand washing whenever possible.

We have always provided our team with personal protective equipment such as masks and visors and although shortages are reported we still have an acceptable level of stock currently including toilet roll. We are not anticipating running out of stock at the moment.

All our clinicians, including our hygienists, have always been supported and assisted by a nurse to help maintain excellent standards of hygiene and we use high volume aspirators during procedures to reduce aerosols. Our nurses follow thorough decontamination processes between each patient and undergo regular training in this field. So as always, we will continue to provide the best and safest care for our patients.

If we could ask of you that if you have travelled recently, or been in contact with someone who has contracted the virus please ensure you follow the government guidance and seek advice from NHS 111 if you have any symptoms or concerns before visiting The Centre.

If you have returned from any of the countries listed as category 1 or have had any contact with the virus please rearrange any non-essential appointments you have to help minimise the risk of exposure to groups of the public to which contracting virus poses a higher risk of serious illness.

If you are not at risk, then it is business as usual and we look forward to welcoming you all to the practice this week.

    Thank you
