Implants are titanium cylinders placed into the jaws to support replacement teeth. This can mean the adjacent teeth do not have to be prepared or a tooth replaced where otherwise it may not be possible.
Maybe in conjunction with other advanced techniques, implants can give a very convincing reconstruction of teeth.
