Frequently Asked Questions
It is very difficult to give an estimate of cost without seeing the patient. An examination costs around £35 for routine treatment. At this appointment costs will be explained to you in a non pressurised environment. You will be given a written estimate and no treatment will be carried out until costs have been explained. What if treatment becomes more complicated than planned ?
Very occasionally this can happen due to the biological nature of dentistry. At Argo we aim to keep you fully informed at all times and will stop and discuss a change of treatment. We are happy for our patients to ask questions.
Modern dentistry can be pain free but it is normal to experience post operative discomfort after surgical or complicated procedures. We aim to explain side effects and possible complications to you beforehand so you can be prepared. We are able to offer sedation for dental procedures if this is necessary.
How long has the practice been established ?
The Priorslee practice was established in 1994 and the Shrewsbury practice was established in 1998. The Shrewsbury practice moved to its new purpose-built building in 2000. The Priorslee Dental Practice expanded in 2001
